In Malayalam it is called as “Kelumpang” or “Kayu Lepong” and in English, it is known as the “Wild Almond”, “Poon Tree”, “Java Olive” or the “Indian Almond”. Both in Hindi and Bengali languages, it is known as “Jungli Badam”.
